Reiki is a modality of energy healing. According to practitioners, energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness.

Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Reiki practitioners believe that improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.

During an individual sound healing session, singing bowls are placed on or close to your dressed body (within your aura) and played by both vibrating and tapping The sounds, vibrations and patterns created induce a feeling of relaxation and well-being. The vibration can correct your balance and provide feelings of inner strength, harmony and energy. Sound massage can provide relief from stress, anxiety and pain. Deep relaxation is achieved through soothing sounds that are rich in overtones. The sound and vibration removes tension and blockages. It provides a pleasant sensations and increases positivity & creativity. A sound bath is a meditative experience during which people lie down and listen to resonant sounds. After a short meditation, the body is enveloped in the sound vibrations of crystal and tibetan bowls, drums, gongs, chimes and flutes.  Taking the mind into the theta brainwaves and a state of deep relaxation.
